We have clarified the policies relating to car charging points

Charging facilities can be added to rented parking spaces at the residents’ request.

As a VAV resident, you can rent a parking space in your building’s car park, provided there are spaces available. Under a new policy, all residents now also have the option to enquire about adding charging facilities for electric and hybrid cars to their own parking space.

Please note that before adding a charging point, residents must have a so-called standard parking space on a rental basis.

Are you interested in a charging point?

If you’re interested in a charging point, please first contact our customer service team so that we can check whether a charging station can be installed at your chosen parking space. If a charging point can be added to the parking space, our partner eParking will install it.

How to order a charging point for yourself

  1. Check with VAV’s customer service to see if a charging point can be installed in your building’s car park. It may not always be possible to add one.
  2. Order a charging point for your car through our partner eParking. To order, simply fill in the order form. As a general rule, we offer slow charging (1.8 kW).

VAV residents pay eParking for their charging point via the eParking app, covering both the car park rental fee and the cost of the electricity used for charging.

Do you already have a charging point?

If you have a charging point for electric and hybrid cars that was rented before 15 September 2025, your current rental agreement and the terms and conditions set out therein remain unchanged. We are planning to upgrade these charging points for electric and hybrid cars during 2026. Further details of the project will be provided at a later date.
